[Hsorchestra] Masquerade Concert on October 30th !!

Dear Parents of High School Orchestra Members, 

Greetings! This is the first group e-mail for the 2012-2013 school year to High School Orchestra parents from the Weston Friends of Music (WFOM). As the liaison between WFOM and orchestra parents, I will be sending out e-mail notices and requests for assistance at orchestra events. These events usually involve a large number of students – so parent volunteers are very important in making things go smoothly! 


We have a fun-filled year coming up starting with the Band and Orchestra Masquerade Concert, Tuesday, October 30th, at the High School. The concert starts at 7:30 pm in the auditorium. This is a fun evening with lighthearted music and students dressed in Halloween costumes. Tickets are $5 per adult, while staff, students and seniors are free. We need 3-4 volunteers to monitor the doors from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Please respond to this e-mail if you are interested in helping out! 

Several other events are coming up that will also need volunteers. E-mail requests for help will be sent out as the dates get closer. These dates include: 


- Senior District music auditions, Saturday, November 17th. A few parents to chaperone and take attendance will be needed. 
- High School Orchestra Winter Concert, Wednesday, December 19th. Ticket sellers, ushers and food volunteers will be needed.
