[Hschorus] Weston 300 Important Info

Dear Chorus members and Parents,

As you know, the Choruses will be performing at the Weston 300 Grand Celebration Concert. The evening will include a performance of the Choruses alone after which we will perform the Battle Hymn of the Republic and 1812 Overture with a 300-person choir, complete with fireworks.  This should be an exciting event!!!! Looking forward to seeing you all there!!! Doc Prov

Schedule:
Friday, May 31st
6-9PM rehearsal
Location: Weston High School

Saturday, June 1st
4-5:30PM dress rehearsal
5:30-7:30PM pizza dinner
8:00PM (approx) Performance
Location: Weston High School Stadium


Please read all information below carefully.

Today:

 *   5:30-5:45PM drop-off at Weston High School main entrance - rehearsal will start in the Band Room then move to gym


Tomorrow:

 *   drop-off/arrival no later than 3:30PM at WHS - walk to football field for rehearsal
 *   wear sunscreen, bring water, and wear cool, comfortable clothing - there will be time to change into concert clothing after the dress rehearsal
 *   reminder: women can wear short sleeved or sleeveless black tops with black pants or floor length skirts, men will wear tuxedos (we will remove jackets if it is too hot)

PARKING:

 *   at tonight's rehearsal, all students will be given 2 parking passes for tomorrow: one for drop-off only, and one for parking before 3:30PM (drop off pass attached)
 *   parking/drop-off passes must be visible on your windshield when you arrive at WHS
 *   please plan ahead - the Weston 300 event will be attended by hundreds of people and car traffic will be heavy with police detailing.
 *   for parents who are arriving at 8PM for the concert, if the high school and middle school lots are full, you will park in a nearby churches and a shuttle service will bus you to WHS and back.
