Hello Everyone!!! I hope you had a fabulous break and a wonderful
Thanksgiving. This note is just a reminder about our upcoming events in the
High School Chorus.

On Sunday, December 10th the students will be singing at Norumbega Center in
the afternoon, and will return to the High School to enjoy a nice pot luck
dinner provided by their parents.

By now you should have gotten the notice about food assignments:

9th Grade - Main dish

10th Grade - Salad

11th Grade - Dessert

12th Grade - Drinks

As for the main dishes, pasta seems to be a crowd favorite. the salads are
usually tossed green or Cesar. desserts can be brownies, cookies, etc., and
for the drinks we have water, juice, and soda.

Each dish should be enough for about 6 - 8 people. The students should be
returning to the school between 4 -4:15pm. If you are providing a hot main
dish, please deliver it to the high school cafeteria at 4:00pm. Items that
are not heated or refrigerated may be sent in earlier with your children.
Please email me if you have any questions.

The following parents have volunteered to help set-up: Peg Golden, Ellen
Roth, Marcia Kassler, Debbie Blanchard, Joanne Charpie, Toni Wolf, Peggy
Koenig, and Eve D'Amato.

    - We will have access to the high school cafeteria at 3 pm. and the
students will arrive at between 4:00 and 4:15pm.

The following parents have volunteered to help with clean-up: Julie
Panagakos, Kathleen O'Meara, Henriette Power, Anne Sanda, Rosemary Quinn,
and Sandy Coburn.

- If you could please come at 5:15pm. that would be great.

*** I was wondering if anyone can volunteer to bring in some music for that
afternoon??? Either a "boom box" or a docking station for an ipod.

Please let me know if you would like to help by providing some mood
music for this wonderful event!!!

Also, the High School Chorus Winter Concert will be held on Wednesday,
December 13th at 7:30pm. We will be filing out of the concert through the
cafeteria again this year for a mini reception to greet the directors and
give the singers a congratulatory snack. We need dozens of cookies and a
few cases of water. Please let me know if you would be willing to provide
some cookies or water. Store-bought cookies are fine, and the cases of
mini-water bottles are available at Costco. Thank you so much for making
these concerts so memorable!!

One last reminder. the balance for the NYC trip is due by Friday, December
1st. Notes went home with the Pot Luck notice.

Thank you so much for all your help and I hope this letter isn't too wordy.
I will be sending another reminder in a few days via listserv. Please reply
to this email if you have any questions at all.

I look forward to the upcoming chorus events!! Thanks again, Liz Hochberger
